List of Specimens Taken to be Suitable for Live Import Amendment (Labidochromis caeruleus and Testudo hermanni) Instrument 2019

I, John Gibbs, a Delegate of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to paragraph 303EC(1)(b) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby amend Part 1 and Part 2 of the List of Specimens taken to be Suitable for Live Import, established under section 303EB of the Act:

1. On Part 1 of the Live Import List Under the heading Vertebrate Animals, Cartilaginous fishes (Chondrichthyes):

Delete:

Taxon Common name
Labidochromis caeruleus Electric Yellow Cichlid

On Part 1 of the Live Import List Under the heading Vertebrate Animals, Bony fishes (Osteichthyes)

Add:

Taxon Common name
Labidochromis caeruleus Electric Yellow Cichlid

2. On Part 2 of the Live Import List, under the heading Vertebrate Animals, Reptiles (Reptilia) in the appropriate alphabetical position:

Delete:

Taxon Common name Conditions  for Import
Testudo hermanni Herman’s Tortoise Eligible non-commercial purpose only, excluding household pets.

Add:

Taxon Common name Conditions  for Import
Testudo hermanni Hermann’s Tortoise Eligible non-commercial purpose only, excluding household pets.

This amendment will take effect the day after registration on the Federal Register of Legislation.
