I, Dr Brok Glenn, Acting Executive Director (Administration), an authority for the purposes of the Liquor (University Arts Centre) Statute, make this Order under section 5 of that Statute.

1       Name of Order and commencement

1.1        This Order is the Liquor (University Arts Centre) Order 2005.

1.2This Order commences on the day after it is registered.

2       Interpretation

2.1        In this Order, unless the contrary intention appears:

Statute means the Liquor (University Arts Centre) Statute.

3       Sale etc of liquor: Arts Centre premises

3.1        For section 5 of the Statute, Liquor may be sold, purchased or consumed in relation to the building or buildings occupied by the University as an Arts Centre, including, but not limited to:

(a)   the premises known as The Gods Café and Bar; and

(b)   the premises known as Vivaldi Restaurant.

3.2        For section 6 of the Statute, I determine that, for section 2 of the Statute, the use of premises mentioned in paragraph 3.1(a) or (b) for the purposes of a café or restaurant are approved activities.
