An Act to amend an Act, passed in the fifth year of the reign of His late Majesty WILLIAM IV., intituled " An Act to regu- late the Sale of Spirituous and Fermented Liquors by Retail.
HEREAS, by the 11th Section of the Act, passed in the fifth
W4, intituled " An Act to regulate the Sale of Spirituous and Fermentedyear of the reign of His late Majesty King William 117., No.
Liquors by Retail," it is enacted, that every License to be issued by virtue of that Act, shall be issued by the Collector of Colonial Revenue for the time being in the form set forth in the Schedule thereunto annexed : and that for every such License there shall be paid to the said Collector the respective fees thereinafter mentioned,

—that is to say, for every License to be granted to a Publican to retail at Perth or Fremantle,-tie sum of hventy-five Pounds ; at Guildford, the sum of Twenty Pounds; at King George's Sound, the sum of Fifteen Pounds; at Augusta, the sum of Ten Pounds; at any other place in the said Colony, the sum of Five Pounds ; and for every such License to be granted to a person, not being a Publican, to retail in any part of the said Colony, the sum of Ten ponnds. And whereas it is expedient to alter the said Clause in the manner hereinafter-mentioned ;— Be it enacted, that for every such License as therein referred to, there shall be paid to the said Collector the resrfective fees following :that is to say, for every License to be grind( d to a Publican to retail at Perth or Fremantle, or within the distance of three miles from the limits of such Town, the sum of Twenty-five Pounds; at Guildford, or within the distance of two miles from ilia limits of the town of Guildford, the sum of Fifteen Pounds: , at Albany, or ‘vithin the distance of too miles from the' mon of Albany, the sum of Fifteen pounds ; at Augusta, or within the distance of two miles from the limits of Augusta, the sum of Ten Futmils ; IA any other place it) the sad Colony, the sum of Ten Pounils ; and Mr every such License to be granted to a person, not ',nig a Phi:Hum, to retail in any other part of the said Colony, the ship of Ten Pounds.
