The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Liquor Act 1975.

Commencement
1. These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.
Prescribed public places
2. Regulation 11 of the Liquor Regulations is amended—
(a)by omitting from subregulation (2) “Monday 26 December 1994” and “Saturday 31 December 1994” and substituting “Tuesday 26 December 1995” and “Monday 1 January 1996” respectively; and
(b)by adding at the end the following subregulations:
“(6) For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of ‘prescribed public place’ in subsection 84 (3) of the Act, so much of the area shown on the map in Schedule 2 as is—
(a)a public place; and
(b)within the area delineated by the heavy black line on that map;
is declared to be a public place to which section 84 of the Act applies.
“(7) The public place specified in subregulation (6) shall be taken to be a public place to which section 84 of the Act applies only during the period commencing at 3.00 p.m. on 1 December 1995 and ending at 9.00 a.m. on 2 December 1995.”.
