Liquor Regulations Amendment

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following regulations under the Liquor Act 1975.

1. Commencement

   These regulations commence on the day they are notified in the Gazette.

2. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Liquor Regulations 1979.

3. Prescribed public places

   Regulation 11 is amended—

(a)by omitting subregulations (1) and (2) and substituting the following subregulation:

“(1)  For paragraph (c) of the definition of prescribed public place in subsection 139 (5) of the Act, the public places mentioned in subregulation (3) are declared to be public places to which section 139 of the Act applies only during the period beginning at noon on 3 January 2001 and ending at noon on 8 January 2001.”; and

(b)by omitting from subregulation (3) “the purposes of subregulations (1) and (2)” and substituting “subregulation (1)”.
