Liquor Act 1975
Commencement
These regulations (other than regulation 4) commence on the day they are notified in the Gazette.
Regulation 4 commences on the commencement of regulation 3 of these regulations or the commencement of the Legislation Act 2001, section 18 (ACT legislation register), whichever is later.
Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Liquor Regulations 1979.

Regulation 2
omit everything before the definition of beer, substitute
Meaning of beer
In these regulations:
Regulation 3B
substitute
3BSale of beer in glass bottles—the Act, s 45 (2), 47 (2), 48 (3), 49 (2)
A general licence, an off licence, a club licence or special licence does not authorise the licensee to sell beer in glass bottles between 12 noon and 11 pm on 31 December 2001.
Regulation 5
omit everything before paragraph (a), substitute
Prescribed fittings—the Act, s 98 (3)
For the Act, section 98 (3), the following fittings are prescribed:
