Liquor Licensing (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2016

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 .8 August 2016

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Liquor Licensing (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2016 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which the provisions of the Liquor Licensing Amendment Act 2015 commence. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Liquor Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2015 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 1 amended (Fees) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by inserting the following item after item 2 in Part 1 : 2A.   Application under section 25D of the Act for the variation of conditions of a liquor licence – 90 fee units (b) by omitting item 6 from Part 1 ; (c) by omitting paragraph (b) from clause 1 of Part 2 and substituting the following paragraphs: (b) an out-of-hours permit valid for between 7 days and 12 months, both inclusive – 395 fee units (ba) an out-of-hours permit valid for a period exceeding 12 months but not exceeding 2 years – 790 fee units (bb) an out-of-hours permit valid for a period exceeding 2 years but not exceeding 3 years – 1 185 fee units (d) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (h) in clause 1 of Part 2 : (i) a small producer’s permit – 85 fee units (e) by inserting the following item after item 1 in Part 2 : 2.   Application under section 34C of the Act for the variation of conditions of a liquor permit – 45 fee units

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations amend the

(a) prescribing the fees payable for – (i) applications to vary conditions on liquor licences or liquor permits; and (ii) small producer’s permit applications; and (b) revising the fees payable for out-of-hours permit applications.
