Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Liquor Licensing (Dry Areas) Variation Regulations 2014.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

1—Extent of prohibition

The consumption of liquor is prohibited and the possession of liquor is prohibited.

2—Period of prohibition

Continuous, but excluding any day or portion of a day during which—

     (a)     an event of historic, traditional, cultural or major community significance is held within the area; and

    (b)     the consumption and possession of liquor within the area are authorised for the purposes of these regulations by the Wattle Range Council.

3—Description of area

The area in Millicent, generally known as the Millicent Memorial Swimming Lake and comprising Lot 11 DP 62489 and adjoining land, bounded as follows: commencing at the point at which the south‑western boundary of Rendelsham Road meets the north‑western boundary of Park Terrace, then south‑westerly along that boundary of Park Terrace to the point at which it meets the fence that runs along the south‑western boundary of the bitumenised access road immediately to the south‑west of the Millicent Memorial Swimming Lake (the access road that runs across Lot 12 DP 62489 approximately 30 metres south‑west of and parallel to the north‑eastern boundary of Lot 12), then generally north‑westerly along the fence and fence line on the south‑western boundary of the access road to the south‑eastern boundary of Battye Street, then north‑easterly along that boundary of Battye Street to the south‑western boundary of Rendelsham Road, then south‑easterly along that boundary of Rendelsham Road to the point of commencement.

Schedule—North Adelaide Area 1, clause 2—delete "until 30 October 2014"

10—Variation of Schedule—Victor Harbor Area 1

Schedule—Victor Harbor Area 1, clause 2, paragraphs (b), (c) and (d)—delete paragraphs (b), (c) and (d) and substitute:

(b)from 3 pm to 10 pm on 13 December 2014;

(c)from 3 pm to 10 pm on 31 December 2014;

(d)from 8 am to 9 am on 1 January 2015.

11—Variation of Schedule—Victor Harbor Area 2

Schedule—Victor Harbor Area 2, clause 2, paragraphs (b), (c), (d) and (e)—delete paragraphs (b), (c), (d) and (e) and substitute:

(b)from 8 am on 17 November 2014 to 10 am on 24 November 2014;

(c)from 3 pm to 10 pm on 13 December 2014;

(d)from 3 pm to 10 pm on 31 December 2014;

(e)from 8 am to 9 am on 1 January 2015.

12—Variation of Schedule—Victor Harbor Area 4

Schedule—Victor Harbor Area 4, clause 2—delete "From 8 am on 18 November 2013 to 10 am on 25 November 2013." and substitute:

From 8 am on 17 November 2014 to 10 am on 24 November 2014.
