Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Liquor Licensing (Dry Areas—Short Term) Variation Regulations 2010.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

4—Variation of Schedule 1—Short term dry areas

Schedule 1, after the item headed "Adelaide—Area 3 (Rymill Park and Rundle Park)" insert:

Adelaide—Area 4 (Rymill Park)

(there is no plan for this area)

The area in the City of Adelaide generally known as Rymill Park, being the area bounded by Rundle Road, Dequetteville Terrace, Bartels Road and East Terrace.

    (a)    From 5 pm on 19 February 2010 to 7 am on 20 February 2010;

    (b)    From 10 am to 12 midnight on 8 March 2010.

The consumption of liquor is prohibited and the possession of liquor is prohibited.

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
