Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Liquor Licensing (Dry Areas—Short Term) Variation Regulations 2007.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

4—Variation of Schedule 1—Short term dry areas

Schedule 1, item headed "Adelaide—Area 1 (Bonython Park)"—delete the item and substitute:

Adelaide—Area 1 (Bonython Park)

(there is no plan for this area)

The area in the City of Adelaide generally known as Bonython Park, being the area bounded by the River Torrens, the eastern boundary of Port Road and the western boundary of the railway reserve running between Port Road and the River Torrens (on the eastern side of the Old Adelaide Gaol).

4 p.m. on 11 January 2008 to 1 a.m. on 13 January 2008.

The consumption of liquor is prohibited and the possession of liquor is prohibited.

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
