An Ordinance to amend the Laws relating

to Publicans' Licenses.

HEREAS an Act was passed in the fourth and fifth years of 4th and 5th wet. ero.s

W the reign of Her present Majesty, entitled "an Act for re_ amended, giving two

tin of Pnblic Houses, and for the better regulating the granting of Licenses for the sale of Ale, Beer, Wine, Spirits and other Liquors in Western Australia in future ;" and whereas it is expedient to amend the said Act in certain respects;—Be it therefore enacted, by His

Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council there- of, that it shall be lawful for two Justices to exercise all the powers and perform all the acts directed to be exercised and performed by three Justices according to the said Act;—Provided always that nothing in this Act contained shall be construed to repeal the fif- teenth Clause of an Act passed in the seventh year of the reign of

Her Present Majesty, entitled " an Act to regulate summary pro- ceedings before Justices of the Peace.
