An Act to increase license fees, and certain other fees, payable under the Liquor Act, 1912; to correct certain references; for these purposes to amend the Liquor Act, 1912, and the Liquor (Amendment) Act, 1973; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 11th December, 1974.]

Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the "Liquor (Further
Amendment) Act, 1974".
2. (1 ) Sections 4 and 5 shall be deemed to have
commenced on 1st June, 1973.
(2 ) Subject to subsection ( 1 ) , this Act commences on the date of assent to this Act.
3. The Liquor Act, 1912, is amended—
(a )
(i)
by inserting in section 21 (1) (b) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(ii)
by inserting in section 21 (1) (d) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(iii)
by inserting in section 21 (1) (g) after the word "six" the words "and one-half ;
(iv)
by inserting in section 21 (1) (i) (i) after the word "four" the words "and one-half";
(v) by inserting in section 21 (1) ( i) (ii) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(vi) by inserting in section 21 (1) (1) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(vii) by inserting in section 21 (1) (n) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(viii) by inserting in section 21 (1) (q) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";

by inserting in section 78H (2) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(c)
by inserting in section 150A (1) (b) after the word "six" the words "and one-half";
(d)
by inserting in section 152H (1) after the word "six" the words "and one-half".
The Liquor Act, 1912, is further amended—
(a) by omitting from section 152H (5) the matter "22" and by inserting instead the matter " 2 3 " ; (b) by omitting from section 152s the matter "152s" and by inserting instead the matter "152R" ; (c) by omitting from section 152T the matter "152T" and by inserting instead the matter "152s".
The Liquor (Amendment) Act, 1973, is amended by omitting the words "one mile" from the matter in the Second Column of the Schedule to that Act opposite the matter in the First Column that relates to section 40B (1A) and by inserting instead the words "a mile".
