An Act to amend section 78E of the Liquor Act, 1912, to enable
a restaurant permit to include an area, not being a room, in

which meals are supplied. [Assented to, 28th March, 1978.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Liquor (Footway

Restaurants) Amendment Act, 1978".

2.      The Liquor Act, 1912, is amended by omitting section 78E

(2 ) (d) (iv) and by inserting instead the following subpara­
graph :—

(iv)   the size of the room and any other area in which meals are supplied which constitutes the restaurant and any proposed reception area, or if there is more than one such room or other area in which meals are supplied, the sizes of the various rooms and other areas and their situation in relation to each other;
