Liquor Control Amendment Regulations

(No. 6) 2017

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.       Citation

2.     Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a) regulations 1 and 2—on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations - on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Liquor Control Regulations 1989.

4.      Regulation 9C replaced

Delete regulation 9C and insert:

9C.	Types of special facility licence prescribed (Act s.46(6))
For the purposes of section 46(6), a special facility licence is a licence of a type prescribed if it is granted for a purpose described in one of the following regulations -

(a)	regulation 9A( 1) - works canteen;
(b)	regulation 9A(6) - transport;
(c)	regulation 9A(7) - tourism;
(d)	regulation 9A(10) - education and training

institution;

(e) regulation 9A(10a) - education and training

course;

(1)   regulation 9A(10c) - approved viticulture

course;

regulation 9A( 11) - sports arena;

regulation 9A(12) - foodhall;

regulation 9A( 13) - catering;

regulation 9A( 14) - bed and breakfast facility;
regulation 9A(15) and (16) - room service
restaurant;

(1) regulation 9A(22) - auction.
