Liquor Control Amendment Regulations

(No. 3) 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Liquor Control Amendment
Regulations (No. 3) 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Liquor Control Regulations 1989.

4.             Regulation 18A amended

Delete regulation 18A(1) and insert:

(1) In this regulation —

Australian learner driver permit means —

(a) a learner’s permit as defined in the Road Traffic

Act 1974 section 5(1); or

(b)

a permit or other authorisation granted to a person under the law of another State or Territory authorising the person to drive a motor vehicle on a road for the purpose of learning to drive it.

(2A) For the purposes of section 126(1)(b)(i)(III), the
following are prescribed documents —

(a)

a proof of age card issued under regulation 18B;

(b)

a current Australian learner driver permit with a photograph.

Documents prescribed as evidence of age etc.
