1999 No 27—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Further Amendment Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)

20 September 1999 as the day on which that Act, except for Schedule 1 [3]–[8] and [11]–[27] and Schedule 2, commences, and

(b)

1 October 1999 as the day on which Schedule 1 [3]–[8] and [11]–[27] and Schedule 2 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence amendments to the Liquor Act 1982 and the Registered Clubs Act 1976. The amendments to the Liquor Act 1982 relating to function licences are to commence on 20 September 1999, along with savings and transitional provisions, and the remaining amendments are to commence on 1 October 1999.
