LIQUOR AND REGISTERED CLUBS LEGISLATION
FURTHER AMENDMENT ACT 1996 No 103—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels, AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Further Amendment Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation:

(a)

appoint 1 March 1997 as the day on which that Act (except for Schedules 1 and 2 [2]-[4], [9] and [10]) commences,

(b)

appoint 1 April 1997 as the day on which Schedules 1 (except for Schedule 1 [17] and [19], and so much of Schedule 1 [10] as would insert section 156 (1A) (v) and (w) in the Liquor Act 1982) and 2 [9] to that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence most of the amendments made by the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Further Amendment Act 1996. The amendments that are not commenced by this Proclamation relate to the provision of linked gaming machine systems between venues.
