I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment (Monitoring and Links) Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 6 March 1998 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Liquor Act 1982 and the Registered Clubs Act 1976 that relate to the licensing of a centralised gaming machine monitoring system and inter-venue linked gaming systems.
