No 44—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment (Monitoring and Links) Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 December I997 as the day on which Schedule 3 [5]–[8] to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Registered Clubs Act 1976 that will enable the duty on club gaming machines to be calculated on a metered profit basis.
