No 62—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 2000 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a) Schedule 1 [1]–[37], [45] and [48]–[51],

(b) Schedule 2 [1],

(c)

Schedule 2 [2] (except to the extent that it inserts a definition of employee in section 4 (1) of the Registered Clubs Act 1976),

(d) Schedule 2 [3]–[19].

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 2000. A definition, proposed to be inserted in the Registered Clubs Act 1976, remains uncommenced.

This proclamation is made under section 2 (2) of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation

Amendment Act 2000.
