LIQUOR AND REGISTERED CLUBS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1997 NO 155—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 January 1998 as the day on which that Act commences, excepting:

(a) Schedule 1 [20] to that Act, and
(b) Schedule 2 to that Act, and

(c)

Schedule 3 [17] to that Act, in so far as it inserts clauses 56 and 57 (1) into Part 11 of Schedule 1 to the Liquor Act 1982, and

(d) Schedule 4 [10] to that Act.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation appoints 10 January 1998 as the commencement date for the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 1997, other than certain provisions of that Act effecting amendments that relate to records of licensees and registered clubs and to function licences under the Liquor Act 1982.
