Liquor Amendment (Special Events

Extended Trading) Regulation (No 3) 2019

Liquor Act 2007

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Liquor Act 2007.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to enable certain hotels and clubs to trade during extended hours for the following special events that will be held from January to December 2020—

(a) Tamworth Country Music Festival,
(b) Australia Day,
(c) Australian Open Men’s Final,
(d) ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final,
(e) Vivid Sydney,
(f) Coonamble Rodeo and Campdraft,
(g) NRL State of Origin Game II,
(h) Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final,

(i)         NRL Grand Final,

(j) Bathurst 1000,
(k) ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final,
(l) Newcastle 500.

This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 2007, including sections 13 and 159 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Special Events Extended Trading)

Regulation (No 3) 2019.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
