Liquor Amendment (Special Events Extended Trading) Regulation 2019

Liquor Act 2007

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Liquor Act 2007.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to enable certain hotels and clubs to trade during extended hours for the following special events that will be held in January and February 2019:

(a) Tamworth Country Music Festival,
(b) Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup,
(c) Australian Open Tennis Men’s Singles Final.

This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 2007, including sections 13 and 159 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Special Events Extended Trading)

Regulation 2019.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
