Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Liquor Act 2007.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to give hotels and clubs extended trading hours on certain Sundays on which special events will be held, being the One Day International Cricket Series, the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Australian Open Men’s Tennis Final.
This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 2007, including section 13.

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Special Events—Extended Trading
Periods) Regulation (No 3) 2013.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Liquor Regulation 2008

Clause 38A Extended trading periods for hotels and clubs

Omit clause 38A (a) and (b). Insert instead:

(a) Sunday 12 January 2014,
(b) Sunday 19 January 2014,
(c) Sunday 26 January 2014.
