His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Liquor Act 2007.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to allow hotels and clubs to trade until midnight on certain Sundays on which certain special events will be held, such the National Rugby League Grand Final.

This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 2007, including section 13.

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Special Events—Extended
Trading Periods) Regulation (No 2) 2012.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Liquor Regulation 2008

Clause 38A

Omit the clause. Insert instead:

38A Extended trading periods for hotels and clubs

For the purposes of section 13 of the Act, the period of 2 hours from 10pm until midnight on any of the following days is prescribed as a period during which liquor may be sold or supplied for consumption on the premises to which a hotel licence or club licence relates:

(a) Sunday 10 June 2012 (but only for hotels or club premises in the Coonamble local government area),
(b) Sunday 30 September 2012.
