Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Liquor Act 2007.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to give hotels and clubs extended trading hours on certain Sundays on which special events will be held, being the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the Australian Open Tennis Final and the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Series.

This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 2007, including section 13.

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Special Events—Extended
Trading Periods) Regulation 2013.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Liquor Regulation 2008

Clause 38A Extended trading periods for hotels and clubs

Omit paragraphs (a) and (b). Insert instead:

(a) Sunday 20 January 2013,
(b) Sunday 27 January 2013,
(c) Sunday 3 February 2013,
(d) Sunday 10 February 2013.
