s1 3 s4 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2003 No. 380, 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2003 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 3 March 2004. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Liquor Regulation 2002. 4 Insertion of new schs 1K–1O After schedule 1F, in the appropriate alphanumeric position— insert— ‘SCHEDULE 1K ‘BAMAGA sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘The community area of the Bamaga Island Council. ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for the restricted area, other than Bamaga Tavern and Resort Bamaga is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—9 L; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—2 L; and (c) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (2) The prescribed quantity for Bamaga Tavern is—

s4 4 s4 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2003 No. 380, 2003 (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—any quantity; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—any quantity; and (c) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (3) The prescribed quantity for Resort Bamaga is— (a) for beer, wine or spirits—any quantity; and (b) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (4) In this section— “Bamaga Tavern” means the licensed premises known as Bamaga Tavern at Adidi Street, Bamaga. “fortified wine” includes muscat, port and sherry. “Resort Bamaga” means the licensed premises known as Resort Bamaga (Cape York) at the corner of Lui and Adidi Streets, Bamaga. ‘SCHEDULE 1L ‘INJINOO sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘The community area of the Injinoo Aboriginal Council. ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for the restricted area is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—9 L; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—2 L; and (c) for any other liquor—zero.

s4 5 s4 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2003 No. 380, 2003 ‘ (2) In this section— “fortified wine” includes muscat, port and sherry. ‘SCHEDULE 1M ‘NEW MAPOON sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘The community area of the New Mapoon Aboriginal Council. ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for the restricted area is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—9 L; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—2 L; and (c) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (2) In this section— “fortified wine” includes muscat, port and sherry.

s4 6 s4 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2003 No. 380, 2003 ‘SCHEDULE 1N ‘SEISIA sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘The community area of the Seisia Island Council. ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for the restricted area is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—9 L; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—2 L; and (c) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (2) In this section— “fortified wine” includes muscat, port and sherry. ‘SCHEDULE 1O ‘UMAGICO sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘The community area of the Umagico Aboriginal Council.

s4 7 s4 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2003 No. 380, 2003 ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for the restricted area, other than the canteen is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—9 L; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—2 L; and (c) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (2) The prescribed quantity for the canteen is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—any quantity; and (b) for wine, other than fortified wine—any quantity; and (c) for any other liquor—zero. ‘ (3) In this section— “canteen” means the licensed premises known as Umagico Aboriginal Canteen at Charlie Street, Umagico. “fortified wine” includes muscat, port and sherry.’.
