Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2008 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 2 January 2009. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Liquor Regulation 2002 . 4 Amendment of sch 1B (Doomadgee) Schedule 1B, section 2— omit, insert — ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘The prescribed quantity of liquor for each restricted area is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—22.5L; and (b) for any other liquor—zero.’. 5 Amendment of sch 1E (Woorabinda) Schedule 1E, section 2— omit, insert — ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘The prescribed quantity of liquor of any type for the restricted area is zero.’. 6 Amendment of sch 1H (Pormpuraaw) Schedule 1H, section 2— omit, insert— Page 2 2008 SL No. 364

Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2008 [s 7] ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘The prescribed quantity of liquor for each restricted area is— (a) for wine— (i) if the wine is to be used for sacramental purposes for a religious entity—4L; or (ii) otherwise—zero; and (b) for any other liquor—zero.’. 7 Amendment of sch 1J (Yarrabah) Schedule 1J, section 2— omit, insert — ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘(1) The prescribed quantity of liquor for each restricted area is— (a) for beer or wine, 1 only of the following— (i) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is less than 4%—11.25L; (ii) for wine, other than fortified wine—750mL; and (b) for any other liquor—zero. ‘(2) In this section— fortified wine includes muscat, port and sherry.’. 8 Amendment of sch 1K (Bamaga) Schedule 1K, section 2(1), after ‘The prescribed quantity’— insert — ‘of liquor’. 9 Amendment of sch 1L (Injinoo) Schedule 1L, section 2(1), after ‘The prescribed quantity’— 2008 SL No. 364 Page 3
