s1 2 s3 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2003 No. 230, 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2003 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Liquor Regulation 2002. 3 Insertion of new schs 1G and 1H After schedule 1C, in the appropriate alphanumerical position— insert— ‘SCHEDULE 1G ‘KOWANYAMA sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Areas declared to be restricted areas ‘The community area of the Kowanyama Aboriginal Council and the Mitchell-Alice Rivers National Park. ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for each of the restricted areas, other than the canteen, is zero. ‘ (2) The prescribed quantity for the canteen is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is no more than 4%—any quantity; and (b) for beer other than beer mentioned in paragraph (a)—zero; and (c) for spirits or wine—zero. ‘ (3) In this section—

s3 3 s3 Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2003 No. 230, 2003 “canteen” means the licensed premises known as the Kowanyama Canteen at the corner of Gilbert White Street and Chellikee Street, Kowanyama. ‘SCHEDULE 1H ‘PORMPURAAW sections 37A and 37B ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘The community area of the Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Council. ‘2 Prescribed quantity ‘ (1) The prescribed quantity for the restricted area, other than the canteen, is— (a) for beer in which the concentration of alcohol is no more than 4%—9 L; and (b) for beer other than beer mentioned in paragraph (a)—4.5 L; and (c) for spirits—zero; and (d) for wine— (i) if the wine is to be used for sacramental purposes for a religious entity—4 L; or (ii) otherwise—zero. ‘ (2) The prescribed quantity for the canteen is— (a) for beer—any quantity; and (b) for spirits or wine—zero. ‘ (3) In this section— “canteen” means the licensed premises known as the Edward River Canteen at Wirran Street, Pormpuraaw.’.
