Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 15 March 2008. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Liquor Regulation 2002. 4 Amendment of s 4 (Particulars to accompany applications relating to licences—Act, s 105(1)(c)) Section 4(5), definition Building Code of Australia — omit, insert— ‘ Building Code of Australia see the BuildingAct1975 , section 12.’. 5 Amendment of s 41 (Acceptable and unacceptable practices and promotions for the service, supply and promotion of liquor—Act, s 148A) Section 41(2)(d), example, ‘paragraph (c)’— omit, insert— ‘ paragraph (d) ’. 6 Amendment of sch 1H (Pormpuraaw) Schedule 1H, section 2(1), ‘for the’— omit, insert— ‘for each’. 7 Amendment of sch 1I (Mornington) (1) Schedule 1I, section 2(1), ‘canteen or the lodge’— Page 2 2008 SL No. 29

(3) Schedule 1I— insert— ‘(4) The prescribed quantity for the resort is— (a) for beer, spirits or wine—any quantity; and (b) for any other liquor—zero.’. (4) Schedule 1I, section 2(5), as renumbered— insert— ‘ resort means the licensed premises known as the Sweers Island Resort, at Sweers Island.’. 8 Amendment of sch 1K (Bamaga) Schedule 1K, section 1— omit, insert— ‘1 Area declared to be restricted area ‘Division 3 of the area of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council.’. 9 Amendment of sch 1L (Injinoo) Schedule 1L, section 1(a), from ‘the community’ to ‘area,’— omit, insert— ‘division 1 of the area of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council,’. 10 Amendment of sch 1M (New Mapoon) Schedule 1M, section 1(a) and (b)— omit, insert— 2008 SL No. 29 Page 3

Liquor Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 [s 11] ‘(a) division 4 of the area of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council; (b) the foreshore of the division 4 area.’. 11 Amendment of sch 1N (Seisia) Schedule 1N, section 1(a) to (c)— omit, insert— ‘(a) division 5 of the area of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council; (b) the Seisia wharf; (c) the foreshore of the division 5 area.’. 12 Amendment of sch 1O (Umagico) (1) Schedule 1O, section 1(a) and (b)— omit, insert— ‘(a) division 2 of the area of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council; (b) the foreshore of the division 2 area.’. (2) Schedule 1O, section 2(1) and (2), ‘canteen’— omit, insert— ‘Alau Tavern’.
