Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Liquor Act 2007.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to clarify that recognised competency cards may be issued in hard copy or in electronic form, and to update the formula for the automatic indexation of fees to enable indexation to commence in the 2020–21 fee year.

This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 2007, including section 159 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Miscellaneous) Regulation 2020.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Liquor Regulation 2018

(1) Clause 72 Issue of recognised competency card with endorsements

Insert “, in hard copy or electronic form,” after “recognised competency card” where firstly occurring in clause 72(1).

(2) Schedule 1 Fees
Omit “2019” from the definition of B in clause 2(1)(b) of Part 4.
Insert instead “2018”.
