Liquor (Amendment) Act (No. 2) 1991

An Act to amend the Liquor Act 1975
[Notified in ACT Gazette S 139: 11 December 1991]
The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Liquor (Amendment) Act (No. 2) 1991.
Commencement
2. This Act commences, or shall be taken to have commenced, on the commencement of the Liquor (Amendment) Act 1991.
Principal Act
3. In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Liquor Act 1975.1
Consumption of liquor in certain public places
4. Section 84 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (2) (a) and substituting the following paragraphs:
“(a)on licensed premises or on premises at which food is sold for consumption on those premises;
(aa)within 50 metres of premises referred to in paragraph (a) by a person using furniture or other facilities lawfully provided by the proprietor or lessee of those premises for that purpose; or”.
