An Ordinance to amend the Liquor Ordinance 1975

I. THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

LIQUOR ( A M E N D M E N T ) O R D I N A N C E (No. 2) 1979
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Liquor (Amendment) Ordi-
nance(No.2) 1979.'
2. Section 34 of the Liquor Ordinance 1975 2 is amended —
(a) by omitting from sub-section (4) "au thor ize" and substituting
"approve" ; and
( b) by inserting after sub-section (4) the following sub-section:

" ( 4 A ) Where, in respect of premises situated on land held under a lease granted by or in the name of the Commonwealth, there is in force a General Licence, the Board shall not authorize the issue, or approve the transfer, of a Club Licence to a club if the premises of the club are situated on that land.".
