An Act to amend the Liquor Act 2010

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

  1. Name of Act

    This Act is the Liquor Amendment Act 2012.

  2. Commencement

    This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

    NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

  3. Legislation amended

    This Act amends the Liquor Act 2010.

  4. Determination of fees
    New section 227 (1A)

    insert

    (1A)A fee determination for section 42 (Licence—application for renewal) commences—

    (a)3 months after its notification day; or

    (b)if the determination provides for a later date or time—on that date or that time.
