Liquor Amendment Act 1999 New South Wales

No 63—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Liquor Amendment Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 17 December 1999 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (other than Schedule 1 [43], [44] and [56]) commence.

Explanatory note
The object of this proclamation is to commence uncommenced provisions of the Liquor Amendment Act 1999 other than Schedule 1[43], [44] and [56]. The items not being commenced relate to amendments to section 101 (Control of licensed premises) of the Liquor Act 1982 and the insertion of sections 117EA to 117ED relating to “proof of age cards” into that Act.

This proclamation is made under section 2 (1) of the Act.
