[ASSENTED TO 24TH NOVEMBER, 1947.J B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- Short title 1. This Act may be cited as "The Liquor Acts and . Amendment Act of 1947," and shall be read as one with constructlOn.*" The Liquor Acts, 1912 to 1945," herein referred to as the Principal Act. Collective The Principal Act and this Act may collectively title. be cited as " The Liquor Acts, 1912 to 1947." Amendment 2. The following paragraph is added to section of s. 5. five of the Principal Act, namely : - "Moreover, unless expressly herein· otherwise declared, nothing in this Act shall apply- (i.) To the sale, during any actual flight of an aircraft, of liquor to any passenger in such aircraft where the sale is made by or on behalf of the owner of such aircraft and the liquor is sold for the purpose of being drunk or consumed on such flight; or (ii.) To the carrying about in an aircraft of liquor for sale in accordance with the provisions of subparagraph (i.) of this paragraph." * 3 G. 5 No. 29 and amending Acts.
