Liquor Act Amendment Act 1988, No. 107 1541 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short Title . This Act may be cited as the Liquor Act Amendment Act 1988. 2. Commencement . (1) Section 1 and this section shall commence on the day on which this Act is assented to for and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall commence on a day to be appointed by Proclamation. 3. Principal Act and citation as amended . (1) In this Act the LiquorAct 1912-1987 is referred to as the Principal Act. (2) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Liquor Act 1912-1988. 4. Amendment of s. 62. Bars and adjoining rooms . Section 62 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (5) and substituting the following subsection:- "(5) (a) No licensee shall let or sublet any bar on his licensed premises. (b) No person other than a licensee or his servants shall sell liquor on or in connection with the licensee's licensed premises.". 5. Amendment of s. 125AE. Restrictions on sale and supply under restaurant license of liquor. Section 125AE (4) of the Principal Act is amended by in paragraphs (d) and (e) omitting the words "and two o'clock after noon and between the hours of six o'clock".
