Liquor Amendment Regulation 2001 New South Wales

Liquor Act 1982

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Liquor Act 1982.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Liquor Regulation 1996 to exclude certain premises from the operation of section 23 (3A) of the Liquor Act 1982. The effect of the amendment is to exempt certain persons holding a hotelier’s licence or certain on-licences from the requirement under the Act to sell or supply liquor to the public. The amendment allows the exempted persons to sell or supply liquor only to a particular class or classes of persons specified in the Regulation.
This Regulation is made under the Liquor Act 1982, including sections 23 and 156

(the general regulation-making power).

  1. Name of Regulation

    This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment Regulation 2001.

  2. Amendment of Liquor Regulation 1996

    The Liquor Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
