Liquor Amendment Regulation 1998

Liquor Act 1982

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Liquor Act 1982.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:

(a)

to repeal provisions of the Liquor Regulation 1996 that relate to licence fees that have been abolished by the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 1997, and

(b)

to limit the period for which records kept by licensees in connection with the abolished licence fees must be preserved.

This Regulation is made under section 156 of the Liquor Act 1982 (the general regulation-making power) and clause 54 of Schedule 1 to that Act.

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment Regulation 1998.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 10 January 1998.

3 Amendment of Liquor Regulation 1996
The Liquor Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.
