Liquor Act 1982

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Liquor Act 1982.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to declare the alcoholic ice block to be an undesirable liquor product that is not permitted to be sold or supplied on licensed premises.

This Regulation is made under section 117I of the Liquor Act 1982 (a provision inserted into the Act by the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 2000).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Liquor Amendment (Prohibited Products)

Regulation 2000.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 31 December 2000.

3 Amendment of Liquor Regulation 1996

The Liquor Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

4 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

(Clause 3)

Clause 86D

Insert after clause 86C:

86D Sale of undesirable liquor products

For the purposes of section 117I of the Act, the following are
declared to be undesirable liquor products:
alcoholic iceblock—a product sold in an individual package or

individual packages for consumption in frozen form and which,at 20O Celsius, contains more than 1.15 per cent ethanol by

volume.
