Application for approval of the Lineage AUS TRS Pty Limited Brisbane Distribution Operations Enterprise Agreement 2024

1. Lineage AUS TRS Pty Limited has applied for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Lineage AUS TRS Pty Limited Brisbane Distribution Operations Enterprise Agreement 2024 (“Agreement”). The application is made under s 185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (“Act”). The Agreement is a single enterprise agreement.

2. The following unions were bargaining representatives for the Agreement and support approval of the Agreement:

   i.   Australian Workers’ Union (“AWU”); and

   ii.   United Workers Union (“UWU”).

1. Having regard to the material in the application and accompanying declaration, I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss 186, 187, 188 and 190 of the Act as are relevant to the application for approval have been met.

2. The AWU and the UWU have each given notice under s 183 of the Act that they want the Agreement to cover them. As required by s 201(2) of the Act, I note that the Agreement covers the AWU and the UWU.

3. The Agreement is approved. In accordance with s 54 of the Act, the Agreement will operate from 30 January 2025. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 25 August 2027.
