Lindfield-Saint Leonards Railway Crossings Act 1900 (NSW)
Act No. 29, 1900.
An Act to enable The Railway Commissioners of New South Wales to close certain level cross ings on the rai lway line be tween Milson's Po in t and Hornsby Junc t ion , and to provide ways in subs t i tu t ion there for ; and to declare certain port ions of such ways to be public
thoroughfares . [3rd October, 1900.]
| BE it enacted by the Queen 's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with | Assembly of New South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled, and by the the advice and consent of the Legislat ive Council and Legislative au thor i ty of the same, as follows:— |
| 1. The Railway Commissioners of New South Wales are hereby author ised and empowered to close the several level crossings over the land included within the lines of the boundary fences of the railway between Milson 's Point and Hornsby Junct ion, par t icular ly described in Schedule A hereto. | |
| On and after the publication of a notification in the Gazette by the said Commissioners that the said crossings have been closed under the au thor i ty of this Act, all rights-of-way on and over such crossings shall be extinguished. | |
| 2. The said Commissioners shall, in substi tut ion for such level crossings, and before closing the same, provide and open for public traffic the several ways par t icular ly described in Schedule B hereto, and so much of the lands comprising each of the said ways as is not s i tuate within the lines of the boundary fences of the railway is hereby declared to be a public thoroughfare . |
