These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

(a) delete paragraph (a) and insert:
(a) if the person is a silent elector as defined in the
Electoral Act 1907 section 4(1); or(b) in paragraph (c)(i) delete “an electoral roll under the
Electoral Act 1907 or” and insert:
the register of electors as defined in the
