AN ACT to amend the Limited Partnerships Act

1909-1982.

[Assented to 5 December 1983.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Limited and citation.

Partnerships Amendment Act 1983.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Limited Partnerships Act

1909-1983.

Section 16

amended. 2. Section 16 of the principal Act is amended

in subsection (1)-

(a) by deleting "appointed by the Governor, not exceeding ten cents for each inspection" and substituting the following-

" prescribed "; and

(b) by deleting "the Governor may appoint, not exceeding twenty cents for the certificate of registration, and not exceeding five cents for each folio of seventy-two words" and substituting the following-

" may be prescribed ".

Section 17

amended. 3. Section 17 of the principal Act is amended in paragraph (a) by deleting ", so that they do not exceed in the case of the original registration of a limited partnership the sum of four dollars, and in any other case the sum of fifty cents".
