Prudential Rules No 26 - Collection of Statistics

Life Insurance Act 1995

I, John Francis Laker, Chair of APRA, under subsection 252(1) of the Life Insurance Act 1995 (the Act) and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, VARY the Prudential Rules No. 26 made on 16 December 2005 by:

(i) omitting the form “Solvency Requirement – PR 26, Schedule 3, Form B.3” and inserting in its place the form in Schedule 1 of this determination; and

(ii) omitting the form “Capital Adequacy Requirement – PR 26, Schedule 3, Form C.3” and inserting in its place the form in Schedule 2 of this determination.

This determination shall take effect upon registration on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

In this instrument

APRA means the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.

Federal Register of Legislative Instruments means the register established under section 20 of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003.
