An Act to appropriate the Sum qf One Thousand Pounds as an addition to the Salary qf the Lieutenant-Governor ,for the Year one thousand eight hundred and$f!@ue,

HEREAS, by an Act passed in this present Session of the P ~ ~ b l * ~

Legislative Council, intituled "An Act for the further ~ ~ ~ r o ~ r i a t & n of the iteveme for the Year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four, and for the General Appropriation of the Revenue for the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five," provision has been made for the issue and application, out of the General Public Revenues of the Province of South Australia, of the several sums of moncy therein specified: And whereas it is considered expedient to provide for an addition to the salary of the Governor for the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five-

Be it therefore Enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor of South Australia,

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,

as follows:

1. Out of the General Public Revenues of the said Province, s ~ 0 0 0 added to for ealary 1855 of ' 0

not otherwise by law specially appropriated, there shall or may be Governor.

further issued and applied the sum of One Thousand Pounds, by

way of increase to the salary of the Governor for the year one

thousand eight hundred and fifty-five.

- writing, signed by him, from time to time direct; and the said Treasurer shall in his accounts be allowed credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders accordingly, and the receipt of

the Governor shall be a full discharge to the said Treasurer for the sums for which the same receipts shall have been respectively given,

and the amounts thereof shall be passed to his credit in account

accordingly.
