An Act to give effect to Liens on Wool and Mortgages on Sheep Cattle and Horses. [19th August, 1852.]

| WH E R E A S an Act of Council was passed in the eleventh year | of Her Majesty's reign intituled " An Act to repeal an Act |
" intituled ' An Act to give a preferable. Lien on Wool from season " ' to season and to make Mortgages of Sheep Cattle and Horses valid " ' without delivery to the Mortgagee ' and to substitute for a limited " time other provisions in lieu thereof" And whereas the title of the said Act was mis-recited in the Act passed for its continuation in the fourteenth year of Her Majesty's reign numbered twenty-four And whereas it is expedient to remedy the said defect and to extend the operation of the first-mentioned Act Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of New South Wales with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof as follows :—

The Act first hereinbefore mentioned and every clause matter and thing therein contained are hereby re-enacted and shall be and continue in force until the thirty-first day of December which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- five and from thence until the end of the next Session of the

All Preferable Liens on Wool and all Mortgages of Sheep Cattle and Horses or any or either of them given made or executed and registered since the thirty-first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty in conformity with the requirements of the said first-mentioned Act shall be taken to have been and to be and shall be valid and effectual as if the said first- mentioned Act had continued in full force and operation up to the present time.
