193 @ue.ensfmtb .ANNO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE ••~••••••••••••••e>••••e••o•••••o•••••o•••'-••••••••• No. 47 An Act to Amend "The Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane Acts, 1931 to 1951," in certain particulars [AsSENTED TO 14 TH DECEMBER, 1961] B E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) This Act may be cited as "The Liens on Short title Crops of Sugar Cane Acts Amendment Act of 1961." (2) " The Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane Acts, 1931 Principal to 1951," are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. Act (3) The Principal Act and this Act may be (_:ollecth,e collectively cited as " The Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane utle Acts, 1931 to 1961."

Section eighteen of the Principal Act is amended (a) omitting from paragraph (1) the words "Joint Stock Companies at" ; (b) omitting from paragraph (2) the words "Joint Stock Companies at the Northern " and inserting in their stead the words " the Supreme " ; and (c) omitting from paragraph (2) the words "Joint Stock Companies at the Central " and inserting in their stead th • e words " the Supreme " . Transitional 3. (l) The Registrar of Joint Stock Companies at Brisbane shall transmit to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Brisbane the register book kept by him under and pursuant to the Principal Act, and the index thereto, and all copies of instruments and verifying affidavits filed in his registry under the Principal Act and all records therein relating to such instruments. (2) The Registrar of Joint Stock Companies at the Northern Court at Townsville shall transmit to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Townsville the register book kept by him under and pursuant to the Principal Act, and the index thereto, and all copies of instruments and verifying affidavits filed in his registry under the Principal Act and all records therein relating to such instruments. (3) The Registrar of Joint Stock Companies at the Central Court at Rockhampton shall transmit to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Rockhampton the register book kept by him under and pursuant to the Principal Act, and the index thereto, and all copies of instruments and verifying affidavits filed in his registry under the Principal Act and all records therein relating to such instruments. (4) The Registrars of the Supreme Court at Brisbane, Townsville and Rockhampton shall keep in the registries of such Court at those places the register books, indexes thereto, and all copies of instruments and verifying affidavits and other records transmitted pursuant to this section to them respectively and such register books and indexes shall be the register books and indexes required by the Principal Act as amended by this Act to be kept by them respectively.

1961 Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane, Etc.
