564 itc>rxtslazt4 Q ANNO VICESIMO QUARTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 54 of 1975 An Act to amend the Liens on Crops ' of Sugar Cane Act 1931-1971 in a certain particular [ASSENTED TO 4TH NOVEMBER, 1975] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane Act Amendment Act 1975. (2) In this Act the Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane Act1931-1971 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane Act1931-1975.

Liens on Crops of Sugar Cane Act Amendment Act 1975, No. 54 565 2. Commencement. This Act shall come into operation on a date appointed by Proclamation. 3. Repeal of and new s. 21. The Principal Act is amended by repealing section 21 and substituting the following section:- " 21. Fees . The Governor in Council, by Order in Council, may prescribe fees to be paid in respect of filing or registering any document, searching registers , making copies of or extracts from any document and in respect of any other act or thing done for the purposes of this Act. Fees as so prescribed shall be paid to the Crown in respect of the acts and things so prescribed.". 4. Making of Order in Council . An Order in Council may be made under section 21 of the Principal Act as amended by this Act and duly published at any time after the passing of this Act, to take effect on the commencement of this Act.
