AN ACT to further amend the Licensing Aet, 1911.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byand with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in
this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows:—

This Act may be cited as the Licensing Act Amend- ment Act, 1922 (No. 2), and shall be read as one with the Licensing Act, 191.1, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.
Employment of
| Asiatic. | 2. | A section is inserted in the principal Act, as follows 130a. Every licensee by whom any person of Asiatic |
race was employed in or about his licensed premises on the 15th day of August, 1922, shall cause the name of such person to be registered in a register to be kept at the Licensing Court for the district in which the licensed premises are situated; and no licensee shall, elsewhere than in the North Province of the State, employ any per- son of Asiatic race in or about his licensed premises whose name is not so registered: Provided that this sec- tion shall not apply to persons of the Jewish race.
Penalty: Twenty-five pounds.
